Guwahati: The chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Friday criticised Congress over an AI-generated video featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother, calling it “reprehensible”. He said the people of Bihar will teach them a lesson in the upcoming assembly elections.Talking to the media at the party’s state headquarters, Sarma said, “Whatever the Congress is doing regarding the PM and his mother is reprehensible. People of the country are outraged. Anyone who tries to defame a mother will never succeed in India.”An AI-generated video posted by Bihar Congress, depicting PM Modi dreaming about his late mother, who criticises him over his politics, went viral.
