Porvorim chapel windows damaged

Panaji: Unknown miscreants damaged two window panes of Our Lady of Candelaria Chapel, near Pinto do Rosario Hospital, at Porvorim, during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Chaplain Fr Joaquim Fernandes told TOI that the incident came to light on Monday morning. “We found a stone inside the chapel. On looking at the window, we found one of its glasses was broken.We then discovered that another windowpane also had a glass broken,” he said.
A police complaint was lodged and Porvorim PI Paresh Naik said that investigation is in progress. tnn
