Two killed, one critically injured in separate stabbing incidents in northwest Delhi
New Delhi: Two men were murdered and another was critically injured in three separate stabbing incidents in northwest Delhi within a span of 24 hours. In the first incident, a 25-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Model Town on Sunday night. The victim was identified as Sahil. Police have registered a murder case and launched a manhunt to trace the accused.During the investigation, police learned that Sahil was rushed to the hospital by his friends, Shiva and Shubham. Shiva told investigators that the attack was <01Justify>allegedly carried out by an 18-year-old <01Justify>youth, Ashu, a resident of the Lal Bagh. <01Justify>Police have recovered the knife used in <01Justify>the crime. In the second incident, a 38-year-old man was stabbed to death in Hudson Lane on Monday. Police identified the deceased as Dilbahar (38), who worked at a mattress-making shop. Preliminary inquiry revealed that he had an altercation with his co-worker, Ashfaque (42), over a trivial issue.During the quarrel, Ashfaque allegedly attacked Dilbahar multiple times with a pair of scissors. The victim was rushed for treatment but succumbed to his injuries. The accused was subsequently arrested.In another incident, a man was allegedly stabbed by a group of six to seven assailants in Ashok Vihar.According to police, the attack, which took place early Sunday, was triggered by the accused’s anger after discovering that the man, identified as Vineet, a resident <01Justify>of Mukundpur, was allegedly pranking and abusing them through a fake social media profile posing as a girl.Vineet was initially taken to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital and later shifted to LNJP Hospital where he remains in critical condition. A case has been registered.
