NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will be looking to Delhi Technological University for innovative solutions from now on. On Tuesday, Delhi Metro and DTU signed an MoU with the purpose of jointly taking up projects in design development, research and indigenization of technology.
A Delhi Metro spokesperson said, “DMRC may request DTU to undertake consultancy projects related to design, analysis, development, forecasting, investigation, system integration, embedded systems and other software and hardware-based solutions.”
“Initially, the MoU has been signed with DTU's electrical and electronics, computer and communication engineering departments,” added an official from Delhi Metro.

DMRC Director (Electrical) Satish Kumar and DTU Vice-Chancellor P B Sharma.
