Police teams, bomb disposal squads and dog squads were rushed to the campuses, while local administration officials coordinated evacuation and security arrangements. Students and staff were moved out of classrooms as a precaution while detailed searches were carried out across the premises. Officials said no suspicious object was found during the initial checks, adding that thorough sanitisation of the campuses was underway. Police said cyber teams have been alerted to trace the origin of the e-mails and analyse their digital trail. "The e-mails are being examined to determine their source and authenticity. We are also verifying whether similar threats were sent to other institutions," a police officer said. Further investigation is underway, police said.
