2 kidnappers arrested, 2 businessmen rescued

DEHRADUN: Two Saharanpur kidnappers, who had abducted two businessmen, also from Saharanpur, and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh, were arrested by Dehradun Police in the wee hours of Tuesday. The businessmen were rescued but two other kidnappers managed to escape.
Police arrested the kidnappers by laying a trap for them around 3:30 am near Ballupur chowk.SP City Shewta Chaubey said, “The two arrested men told police that they had lured businessmen Gulsher and Tauseef Ahmed to come to Dehradun with them for a good business deal. However, after coming to Dehradun they were held captive in a house in Prem Nagar area.”
While Zafar and Mohit were arrested, Sachin and Nawab managed to escape.
