Track renewal work at Coimbatore North railway yard: Some trains to be cancelled, diverted on Sept 12

COIMBATORE: Southern Railway has announced changes in train services on Sept 12 to facilitate track renewal work at Coimbatore North railway yard.

No. 66616 Podanur – Mettupalayam MEMU, scheduled to leave Podanur Junction at 3.30 pm, and No.66617 Mettupalayam – Coimbatore MEMU, scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 4.45 pm, will be cancelled.


No16843 Trichy – Palakkad Express will be operated via Irugur and Podanur. Consequently, the train will skip stoppages at Singanallur, Pilamedu, Coimbatore North and Coimbatore Junction railway stations.
