TN govt opens portal for Class X state board students to apply for answer scans

The school education department has opened a portal for Class X state board students to apply for provisional mark certificates. It has also asked students to apply for scanned copies of answer scripts through respective schools and private candidates through their exam centres.The applications will be open till May 27. For provisional mark certificates, students can apply through www.dge.tn.gov.in by entering their registration number and date of birth and clicking on “SSLC Provisional Mark Certificate” section.Students must pay ₹275 per subject to apply for scanned copies of answer sheets. “Only candidates who obtain scanned copies of their answer scripts will be permitted to apply for retotalling/revaluation later,” the department said in a release.The dates for downloading scanned copies and applying for retotalling/revaluation will also be published on the website. Application for supplementary exams will be issued from May 26, and for revaluation, from Jun 17. Supplementary exams are set to begin from Jul 8.
