Tancet, CEETA-PG results declared: Top 400 rankers to receive scholarship of ₹10,000 a month
Chennai: Anna University declared the results for common engineering entrance test and admissions (CEETA-PG) and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (Tancet) on Friday. The top 400 rankers of CEETA-PG from the 2026-27 batch will get a scholarship with ₹10,000 a month. Students can view the results on the portal https://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet.
As many as 5,137 students aspiring to fill the 1,100 seats at ME, MTech, MArch and MPlanning courses appeared for CEETA-PG exam on May 10. The admission counselling for ME, MTech, MArch, MPlanning courses in university departments and govt engineering colleges is likely to be held in the first week of June.
“We expect the scholarship will attract toppers to our university campuses. This scholarship, which is on par with the All India Council for Technical Education’s (AICTE) GATE scholarship, will help improve the research and quality teachers,” said V Kumaresan, registrar (in-charge) of Anna University. AICTE's GATE scholarship offers ₹12,400 a month. The university will come out with the toppers list by following the 69% reservation rule.
As many as 22,231 students appeared across 15 cities for the Tancet exam on May 9. “The exam results were declared on time and students aspiring to join postgraduate courses will not experience any delay this year,” said D Sridharan, secretary of Tancet.
The scorecard can be downloaded from the official portal of Tancet from May 27 to June 26.
