Chennai: Veteran politician Panruti Ramachandran, who was with various political parties, floated a new party named "MGRADMK" in Chennai on Thursday.
Ramachandran has vast experience of close to 70 years in Tamil Nadu politics. He was initially with former CM M G Ramachandran, then joined the DMDK to aid its founder Vijayakant, and then moved to support former CM
O Panneerselvam. With everyone vacating Panneerselvam's camp, Ramachandran too deserted him.

"The OPS (Panneerselvam) chapter is over," Ramachandran told reporters in Chennai. "I can't waste my entire life for a single person just because I was with him."
Asked whether he will contest in the upcoming assembly election, Ramachandran said the election is just a ritual in the lengthy political journey, and he just commenced his new journey.
