Three of family killed as tipper hits bike in Y’nagar

Yamunanagar: A family's journey home turned tragic on Monday when a speeding tipper rammed into their motorcycle near Pansara village in Yamunanagar district, killing all 3 occupants on the spot. The victims were identified as Sachin (29), a native of Uttarakhand, his pregnant wife Neha (27), and their 4-year-old son, Nonu. The family was travelling to their native village in Haridwar district when the fatal accident occurred.
According to the police, the motorcycle was hit by a tipper near Pansara village, throwing the family onto the road. All 3 sustained critical injuries and were immediately rushed to Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar, where doctors declared them dead.Sachin lived in rented accommodation in the Chitta Hanuman Mandir area of Yamunanagar and was employed at a shop in Meera Market. His sudden death left the local community in shock. Salinder Kumar, SHO of Yamunanagar Sadar police station, said the tipper driver fled the scene after the accident, abandoning the vehicle at the spot. A case was registered against the unidentified driver, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest him.MSID: 127886233 413 |
