Nalwa BJP MLA prostrates before Rampal during visit to Dhanana Ashram

Hisar: BJP MLA from Nalwa, Randhir Panihar, was seen prostrating before preacher Rampal during a visit to the Dhanana Ashram in Sonipat. Rampal was released following relief granted by the Punjab and Haryana high court in the sedition case. A video of the visit, shared on Rampal's official Facebook page, shows the MLA paying respects by touching his feet and later prostrating himself. During the interaction, Panihar appreciated Rampal's relief work, particularly assistance extended to flood-affected areas. In the video, the MLA is heard expressing satisfaction over the service activities carried out in villages. Rampal, in response, said he would continue working for public welfare. Rampal was released on bail on April 10 after being lodged in Hisar Central Jail since 2014 in connection with the Satlok Ashram case. As per bail conditions, he is residing at his Dhanana ashram in Sonipat district and is required to appear before the court during hearings. The next date of hearing is May 16. Since his release, visitors, including members of the public and political representatives, have been meeting him at the ashram.
