Man gets 20-year jail for sexually assaulting minor

Hisar: A court on Monday sentenced a man to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor girl, and ordered him to pay Rs 2 lakh in fines — half as compensation to the victim.Fatehabad's additional sessions judge Amit Garg convicted Vikram under multiple sections of IPC and Pocso Act. "The court observed the accused didn't think even for a moment before destroying the victim's life," Fatehabad district attorney Devendra Mittal said, The case dates back to June 28, 2024, when a complainant alleged his minor daughter was missing, suspected to have been lured by a youth.
