Hisar man gets life term in 3-year-old murder case
Hisar: In a nearly three-year-old murder case, a Hisar court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing a 52-year-old woman with a spade in Rampura village of Hansi. Additional sessions judge Madhulika also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convict, Sunil, a resident of Rampura village.The case was registered at Sadar Hansi police station on the complaint of the victim's husband, Ramesh. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on June 13, 2023, when the couple was returning from their cattle shed. The complainant alleged that Sunil emerged from a nearby plot carrying a spade, abused them and attacked wife Mukesh on the forehead and neck, causing her to collapse, before striking her again.Ramesh said when he raised an alarm, Sunil's mother Ramkala allegedly instigated him by saying that Ramesh should also be killed. Following the attack, both Sunil and his mother fled from the spot.Soon after, neighbours, including Raju alias Rakesh, reached the scene and rushed Mukesh to the Govt Hospital in Hansi, where doctors declared her dead. After hearing the evidence and witness testimonies, the court held Sunil guilty of murder and awarded him life imprisonment.MSID:: 131120972 413 |
