I have nothing to hide. Whatever documents they sought, I provided," he said.Refusing to comment on the merits of the case, Dhillon said the matter was sub judice. "I have full faith in the judiciary and I hope that I shall get justice," he added.Sources said the ED is likely to summon him again next week. The DA case was registered in May 2023. Dhillon and two aides were arrested after the VB alleged that an inquiry into his movable and immovable assets between April 2017 and March 2022 found assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The VB had also alleged that land was purchased in the names of other persons in Faridkot district's Mumara village.A case was registered under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and Section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC at the VB police station in Ferozepur. The Punjab and Haryana high court granted Dhillon bail in August 2023.
