Couple killed, 2 injured as car falls into gorge in Shimla
Shimla: Two people were killed and two others were injured after a car plunged into a nearly 100-metre gorge on the Shoghi-Mehli road near Badagaon in Shimla on Sunday. Police identified the deceased as Suman Sharma, 69, and his wife, Leela Devi, 64, residents of Bilaspur district. Their son Akhil Kumar, who was driving the vehicle, and Nirmala Devi of Sargeen in Shimla sustained injuries.Police said the driver lost control of the car before it veered off the road and fell into the gorge.
