BJP makes its presence felt with turnout at Moga rally: Jakhar
Killi Chahal (Moga): Addressing the ‘Badlav' rally, Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar said the turnout of the people at the rally reflected BJP's presence and strength in Punjab. "When BJP held the Maghi rally at Muktsar on its own, questions were raised about it. On that day, I said we shall make our presence felt here only. And here is the big show, for everybody to see," he said, while pointing towards the turnout at the rally. He attacked the AAP govt for failure on different counts, including law and order and farm issues. He said the Punjab chief minister made the Punjab chief secretary and DGP address his party's rally at the same place. "This reflected the bankruptcy of this govt," he said. He said ‘kattarwad' (radicalisation) was increasing in Punjab, mainly due to the failure of the state govt.Attacking Congress, he said earlier the tussle between two big leaders of Congress in Punjab led to a situation which led to the loss of 25,000 lives, and now the bickering within the Congress was even worse. He said their leader Rahul Gandhi publicly scolded the Punjab leaders. He alleged that Congress was sowing the seeds of radicalism in Punjab.
