Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s progressive and inclusive governance has pulled out 25 crore Indians out of poverty, said Union minister of port, shipping and waterways and ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal, on Friday.
Addressing a gathering of Viksit Bharat Sampark Yatra at two places in Kendrapada, Sonowal said the PM is committed to people’s welfare to develop a ‘viksit Bharat’ (developed India).
Earlier in the day, Sonowal had led a Swachata movement to clean up the premises of Lakshmi Varaha Jew Temple in Aul and offered shramdaan as part of the Swachha Teerth campaign.TNN
