Bhubaneswar YouTuber Rahul Maharana stabbed to death after altercation; 3 arrested

BHUBANESWAR: A 32-year-old YouTuber was stabbed to death following a confrontation with three men near GGP Colony under the Mancheswar police limits in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night.The victim was identified as Rahul Maharana.Police confirmed on Sunday that all three suspects have been arrested and are currently being questioned to establish the sequence of events. Officials said further details about the accused will be disclosed later in the day. “We are trying to ascertain the motive. Prima facie, it appears the murder stemmed from sudden provocation over a trivial issue,” said DCP Jagmohan Meena, adding that the accused were swiftly arrested. According to sources, Maharana had gone to a field near a school with two friends when an altercation broke out with the suspects, who were allegedly consuming alcohol at the spot. The confrontation escalated, leading to the fatal attack.
