RERA officer booked for molesting lawyer

Bhopal: A section officer posted at a RERA office was booked for allegedly molesting a woman lawyer inside a RERA building on Friday afternoon.Cops said the complainant, a 20-year-old, is an advocate who went to the RERA office for official work. She stated in her complaint that she met the section officer during her visit. He allegedly repeatedly insisted that she have tea, coffee, chocolates, and even food.The woman alleged that during the interaction, the officer molested her. Disturbed by the incident, she informed other lawyers she worked with. On their advice, she approached the police station and lodged a formal complaint against the officer. Police registered a case on charges of molestation against the accused and initiated further investigation into the matter.
