Man, 24, molests employer’s 13-year-old daughter in city

Bhopal: A 24-year-old electrician allegedly molested his employer's 13-year-old daughter at her house in city. As per the survivor's complaint, the accused forced the girl's younger sister out of the room before sexually assaulting her. Police registered a molestation case under BNS and the POCSO Act early Tuesday.Police said the survivor is a Class 7 student. Her father works as a contractor, and the accused is a member of his staff. The incident occurred in the evening on Monday while the girl's parents were away at a hospital. The girl was in her room with her 11-year-old sister, while their grandmother was upstairs on the terrace.The survivor said the accused barged into the room and ordered her younger sister to leave. When the child hesitated, the accused allegedly grabbed her by the arm and forcefully dragged her into the hall. The girl alleged that he pushed her onto the bed and attempted to disrobe her while molesting her.The younger sister ran to the terrace to alert their grandmother. As the grandmother rushed downstairs to intervene, the accused sensed trouble and fled the house, cops said. The grandmother immediately informed the parents, who returned home and took the minor to to lodge a formal complaint.
