Gym trainer booked for rape on pretext of marriage

Bhopal: Police on Wednesday registered a case on charges of rape against a man, a gym trainer, following a complaint lodged by a 25-year-old woman, an interior designer, after he allegedly refused to marry her. Efforts are underway to arrest the accused.According to police, the woman works at a showroom in MP Nagar. About 4 years ago, she lived in a rented flat, where she came into contact with a youth while going to a gym. He worked as a gym trainer. The 2 developed a friendship, and he began visiting her flat. The complainant alleged that in Dec 2025, he established physical relations with her on the pretext of marriage.
