BJP mocks Diggy remark, Cong hits back
Bhopal: State BJP on Saturday took a dig at the Congress after former chief minister Digvijaya Singh, while addressing the Kisan Nyay Yatra in Ujjain, said that Kisan Congress state president Dharmendra Singh Chouhan is not able to "hold ground." A video went viral in which Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh, while giving the speech, is seen telling PCC chief Jitu Patwari, "Our president, your Kisan Congress president should hold ground. Zamin nehi pakad rahe hain (not being able to hold ground)."Taking to social media, state BJP media cell chief Ashish Agarwal said, "Congress party and Jitu Patwari's yatra exposes the farce of the drama. When your own leader doesn't trust you, why would the people?"

Ashish Agarwal also said, "Strange dramatics in the Congress."State Congress spokesman Mithun Ahirwar gave a firm reaction to the BJP's post. Ahirwar said, "Former chief minister Digvijaya Singh is a respected senior leader and our mentor. Whatever he says is for the betterment of the party, and the organisation will follow that instruction. The BJP is concerned because of the chaos within their organisation. Even after repeated instructions of state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal, his orders are not being followed by the rank and file. BJP also has MLA Pannalal Shakya predicting civil war in the country. Shouldn't they be more concerned about that?"
