Bike crash kills 2, another dies in hit-&-run

Bhopal: Two men died and a third was injured in a high-speed head-on motorcycle collision on Dana Pani Road in Shahpura area Sunday evening, police said.Sunil Siote, 41, from Bawadia Kalan and in a private job, had ridden with acquaintance Khemchand, 42, also from Bawadia Kalan, to buy vegetables. Siote dropped Khemchand near a farm, waited by a liquor shop, then they departed. Near a nursery, their bike smashed into one ridden by Narendra Singh Rajput, 42, of Ishwar Nagar, approaching from the opposite direction.In another case, a 60-year-old man died after an unidentified motorcyclist struck him while crossing Koh-e-Fiza Road in Bhopal on Sunday morning, police said. Sakharam Oswal of Bajpai Nagar Multi was heading to his daughter's home in Mother India Colony for Rang Panchami festivities when the crash occurred around 11 am near a showroom.
