Bengaluru horror: Woman slows down vehicle near pothole, gets molested; accused arrested

BENGALURU: A 27-year-old eatery assistant was arrested on charges of molesting a motorist when she slowed down her vehicle near a pothole in Kamakshipalya, Magadi Road. The accused is Vinod Kumar, a first-time offender residing at Madeshwaranagar, Herohalli. He was sent to judicial custody in Bengaluru Central Prison.According to Kamakshipalya police, the woman was riding her gearless scooter near Summanahalli Junction last week and her husband was following in his car. "When the woman slowed down, Vinod, who was following on another two-wheeler, stopped his vehicle and abused her. When she objected, he molested her and rode away. The woman's husband tried to chase him, but in vain," police said.Cops scanned 50 peices of CCTV footage and traced the suspect to his house.
