Workshop to promote financial literacy among professionals conducted
Prayagraj: A special financial awareness workshop on the theme ‘financial freedom for professionals – earn smart, grow smart’ was organised under the joint aegis of Allahabad Management Association (AMA), AWOKE India, Union Mutual Fund and Motilal Nehru Institute of Research & Business Administration of Allahabad University on Friday. The objective of the programme was to promote financial literacy among professionals and spread awareness about safe and smart investment practices.The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers, professionals, students and individuals from various sectors.The chief guest of the programme, director of MONIRBA, Prof GBS Johri, stated in his address that financial awareness today is not limited only to investments but is also closely linked to long-term security and stability in life. He emphasised that youth and professionals should begin financial planning at the right time to effectively face future economic challenges.Addressing the participants as the keynote speaker, founder and president of AWOKE India Group, Pravin Kumar Dwivedi, highlighted that current global situations and international conflicts directly impact the cost of living of common people. Therefore, it is extremely important to make timely changes in personal financial planning.
He elaborated on the importance of smart investment, wealth management, financial discipline and cyber security and encouraged participants to take investment-related decisions wisely and set long-term financial goals.President of AMA, OP Goyal, said in his address that such awareness programmes play an important role in promoting financial education in society. During the session, important topics such as financial planning for professionals, safe investments, wealth management strategies, cyber security and fraud prevention were discussed in detail.
