Two arrested in connection with property dealer killing case

Prayagraj: A joint team of SOG and Kareli police on Friday claimed to work out the property dealer murder case and arrested two assailants near Railway Dott Bridge, Bakshi Moda, while planning to escape.The arrested persons were identified as Mohd Hussain alias Plumber, 22, and Mohd Waseem alias Kabootar, 45, both residents of Kareli. Cops also seized a bike involved in the crime.Police said that a 45-year-old property dealer was shot dead by a group of four assailants near Gaus Nagar under the limits of Kareli police station on April 8 night.The arrested miscreants confessed to police that they had close links with prime accused Aasif Durani and his brother. They also claimed that the deceased had an old property dispute with Aasif and, after being asked by the prime accused, they passed information to key assailants when the victim was sitting at a roadside tea corner. Cops are looking for other accused wanted in the killing case.
