ALLAHABAD: The forthcoming ninth national conclave of Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) scheduled to be organised in the city from November 6 would be a confluence of various cultures where around 1,500 delegates from across the country are expected to participate, informed the convenor, Yogesh Shukla.
He said theconclave would be different from the earlier programmes held in the past owingto he fact that renowned statesmen, environmentalists, economists and socialactivists would speak on issues ranging from security to self-reliance in thethree-day conclave. Prominent among these would include senior RSS leader MadanDas Devi, Swadeshi leader Murli Dhar Rao and former Union minister SwamiChinmayanand, national convenor of Swadeshi Jagran Manch Arun Ojha and nationalco-convenor S Gurumurthy and well known columnist and economist Dr AshwiniMahajan.
The conclave would also provide a platform forintermingling of various folk cultures where many regional problems and issueswould also come up for discussion and efforts would be made to find asolution.
Co-convenor of the conclave Chandra Mohan informed thatpersons who have led movements related to water, forest and land in differentstates would also participate in the conclave.
