MNNIT celebrates Women’s Day

Prayagraj: Department of mechanical engineering of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad organised an event to mark the International Women's Day on Sunday. Founder chairman of Indian Climate Congress prof Sanjay Kumar Samantharai was the chief guest and prof H S Goyal was the guest of honour on the occasion.Head of the department Prof Rajeev Srivastava delivered a keynote address on ‘Power of Adishakti to create the Universe' and emphasised that the mind is our inner universe, which controls everything in our life.‘Adi Shakti' is the origin of all causes—the infinite, eternal cosmic energy that exists even before time, space, or creation begins. She is the dynamic force (Shakti) that brings forth everything from nothingness. If the students are able to understand the cosmic power and the mind empowered by Shakti, they can achieve any big goals in life in this competitive age, said the HoD.Prof Sanjay Samantharai encouraged the audience by quoting Kalpana Chawla's mission while prof Goyal highlighted the need for strengthening of women for society.
