UK's GI Outsourcing sets up AI-first GCC in partnership with Enablr
HYDERABAD: UK-based accountants outsourcing firm GI Outsourcing has set up its new AI-first Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad in partnership with Covasant's GCC enablement company Enablr. The GCC marks an expansion of GI Outsourcing's India operations and will support its UK and global service delivery. The facility, which has started with 50 employees, is expected to reach 100 people within 12 months, and plans to add another 100 roles by 2028, taking the total number of employees to 200 by then. The Hyderabad GCC will complement the company’s existing delivery footprint in Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, GI Outsourcing said, adding that the site is designed as a strategic delivery hub that will draw on Hyderabad’s finance and accounting talent to serve its international client base. Tariq Husain, Group CEO, GI Outsourcing, said the move reflects India’s central role in their long-term operating model and said Enablr helped establish operations quickly while managing compliance and risk. Siddharth Viswanathan, head of inward investment (South India), British Deputy High Commission, described the opening of the GCC as a marker of UK–India economic collaboration and investment in talent and innovation. Covasant and Enablr chairman and managing director C V Subramanyam said the partnership is aimed at delivering speed-to-market without sacrificing quality or compliance.
