BENGALURU: Global asset manager BlackRock has signed a fresh lease for 1.43 lakh sq ft of office space with flexible workspace operator Indiqube in central Bengaluru, according to documents sourced from Propstack.The agreement, executed through BlackRock Services India Pvt Ltd, covers KNG Tower 1 at Indiqube Symphony on MG Road’s Ashok Nagar. The lease commences on October 1, 2025, for a tenure of 10 years.Under the terms, BlackRock will pay a monthly rent of Rs 2.72 crore at a rate of Rs 190 per sq ft, amounting to a total rental outlay of about Rs 410 crore over the term. The company has also deposited Rs 21.75 crore as security with Indiqube Space Ltd, the lessor. The leased premises span the ground plus five floors of the building, covering a chargeable area of 1,43,127 sq ft.The deal adds to a spate of large office transactions in Bengaluru’s central business district as global financial and technology companies continue to expand operations in the city. BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, has been scaling its India presence in recent years, mirroring a broader trend of multinationals deepening their back-office and technology hubs in the country.
