NEW DELHI: Tata Motors on Tuesday launched the Nexon EV in three variants, starting at an introductory price of Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Free home charging device and installation service come complimentary with the electric SUV.
The top-of-the-line XZ+ Lux variant gets projector headlamps with DRL, front fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, auto rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry, leatherette upholstery, sunroof, auto climate control, seven-inch infotainment system among the exhaustive list of features.
Nexon EV SUV is propelled by PMS (Permanent Magnet Synchronous) motor, which churns out 127 bhp and 245 Nm. The car is fuelled by a 30.2 kWh Li-ion battery system capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds. Nexon EV gets two drive modes -- Drive and Sport -- along with regenerative braking technology.
Nexon EV delievers ARAI-certified driving range of 312 km/charge. The battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in eight hours with a standard charger. With a fast charger, charging is done in one hour from zero to 80 per cent.
Tata Motors is offering 8 years/1.6 lakh kilometer battery and motor warranty along with 3 years/1.25 lakh kilometer standard.
