Skoda Auto has pulled the wraps off the Vision O concept, a futuristic estate that previews the brand’s next chapter in design, technology, and sustainability. Positioned as a next step into Skoda’s electrified future, the Vision O showcases the next generation of the company’s Modern Solid design language while building on its leadership in Europe’s Combi (estate) segment.
Developed “from the inside out,” the Vision O puts customer experience at its core, the brand said. The interior adopts a minimalist yet practical layout, highlighted by the new Horizon Display running across the dashboard, bio-adaptive lighting that adjusts to natural light cycles, and more than 650 litres of luggage space. Clever touches include a built-in fridge, portable speaker, and dedicated storage for charging cables.
On the technology front, the Vision O integrates advanced autonomous driving features, along with upgraded AI assistant Laura, who doubles as a digital companion and productivity tool. Laura will also power Skoda’s upcoming Vision O app, designed to extend the in-car ecosystem to users’ daily lives. Meanwhile, the MySkoda app will soon receive an update with AI-powered route planning based on Google Gemini.

Sustainability plays a central role, with the Vision O adopting a circular economy approach.
The cabin makes extensive use of plant-based materials, recycled polyester fabrics, Ultrasuede NU with 65% bio content, and upcycled leather waste flooring. Even the headrest is 3D-printed from recyclable Ultrasint TPU in a zero-waste process.
Visually, the estate adopts a clean, aerodynamic silhouette with Skoda’s new Tech-loop face mask and Cyber Lights, designed to boost efficiency and create a bold identity. Measuring 4,850 mm in length, the Vision O also features retractable door handles, airflow channels, and optimized wheels for enhanced range. Skoda confirmed that a production version of the Vision O, built on a future Volkswagen Group platform, is planned for the next decade.
