Mahindra EV service now comes to your door in Delhi-NCR: Details here
Mahindra and Mahindra has announced a major expansion of its aftersales service infrastructure in the Delhi-NCR region, aimed at improving customer convenience and strengthening support for its growing SUV and electric SUV portfolio. As part of the upgrade, Mahindra has set up a new 26,000 sq. ft. Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence. The state-of-the-art facility will focus on upskilling service personnel across sales, mechanical service and bodyshop operations.
Mahindra says it’s equipped with an experiential learning and demonstration hall. The centre is designed to prepare teams to handle the company’s increasingly technology-intensive SUVs and electric SUVs, while meeting evolving customer expectations. The company has also introduced a new Mobile Service Experience through dedicated electric service vans, referred to as eVans, across Delhi-NCR. These electric vans will provide doorstep service and maintenance for Mahindra’s electric SUV customers, offering services such as periodic maintenance, vehicle washing and minor repairs. Each eVan is equipped with tools including a battery pack with charger, hydraulic scissor lift, wheel balancer and car care equipment. Mahindra said it plans to expand the eVan service to other key cities and add more units in the coming days.
The electric service vans will support Mahindra’s electric SUV range, including the XUV 3XO EV, XEV 9S and BE.6. By covering key electric models, Mahindra aims to improve ownership convenience and limit the need for service centre visits, especially in densely populated markets such as Delhi-NCR.
In addition, Mahindra has expanded its service footprint in the region with the inauguration of five new service touchpoints. These facilities add service capacity equivalent to 70 working bays, aimed at reducing turnaround times and improving service availability. The new touchpoints will support Mahindra’s SUV range and also include a dedicated commercial vehicle service facility in Northwest Delhi. The expansion underscores Mahindra’s focus on customer-centric aftersales support as it scales up operations and prepares for higher volumes of SUVs and electric vehicles in the market.
