Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has confirmed that it will transfer the entire advantage of the newly implemented GST Reforms 2025 directly to its buyers, starting 22nd September 2025. Customers can now book their vehicles to enjoy reduced post-GST prices along with existing festive offers, with deliveries scheduled from the onset of Navratri.The lineup begins with the second-generation Amaze offered in two trims, priced at Rs 7.62 lakh and Rs 8.52 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With the GST revision, Honda plans to cut prices of this older sub-4-metre sedan by up to Rs 72,800. The third-generation Amaze, available in six trims, is priced between Rs 8.09 lakh and Rs 11.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Prices for this newer sub-4-metre sedan will drop by as much as Rs 95,500. Currently, both Amaze models carry a 29% GST (including 1% Compensation Cess), which will fall to 18% from 22nd September.
Model-wise price list
The Honda Elevate SUV is offered in nine variants priced between Rs 11.9 lakh and Rs 16.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Honda will reduce the premium SUV’s prices by up to Rs 58,400. The Honda City sedan comes in eight trims, priced from Rs 12.4 lakh to Rs 16.6 lakh (ex-showroom), and will see price cuts of Rs 57,500.
While the City has historically been a key model for Honda in India, its popularity has waned with the overall decline of sedans. Honda also offers the City in an e:HEV hybrid variant at Rs 19.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). No price reduction has been announced for this electrified version. The Honda City and Elevate are powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine which puts out 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and comes paired either with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. The Amaze gets a single engine option - a 90hp, 110 nm, 1.2-litre, 4-cyl, NA petrol engine with a choice of a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
