Biography
Miss Kumudini (aka Kumu) Gupta is a hi-tech professional and entrepreneur. Kumu is a recipient of 2017 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for achievements in a career being a handful of females in industry and college. Marquis Who’s Who has been chronicling lives of prominent Americans worldwide since 1899. Kumu sang the American National Anthem at a Giants baseball game and mentioned in National Baseball Hall of Fame National Anthem file. KUMU Consulting was President’s Active Lifestyle Award (PALA) Advocate and member of President’s Challenge Program (2011-2016) of President’s Council on Fitness Sports and Nutrition under President Obama. Kumu is a recipient of President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition Community Leadership Award. Kumu served on Mayor, State, Congressional Commissions and Advisory Boards and was nominated for 2018 U.N. Prize, Mother Teresa Award & 2019 Gandhi Peace Prize for 2 decades of women’s & children’s rights work in US and India. Kumu is a recipient of President’s Volunteer Service Award, Lifetime Achievement for 20 years of service to the community (including Indian Americans).
