President Trump said he doesn't know the UK ambassador to Washington who was fired by PM Keir Starmer last week over his relationship with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, despite meeting him in the Oval Office four months ago. "I don't know him, actually," Trump said when asked about Peter Mandelson's exit following an investigation which revealed the envoy's relationship with Epstein was deeper than previously known. "I had heard that, and I think the PM would be better speaking on that - it was a choice that he made," Trump continued. Trump shook hands with Mandelson back in May when the US and UK announced a tariff agreement. The presser ended before anyone followed up on Trump's assertion.
