MrBeast’s Beast Games season 2 set to return with strong vs smart twist on Prime Video, release date, how to stream and more

YouTube superstar Jimmy “MrBeast” is bringing back his hit reality competition show, Beast Games, for a second season in early 2026. The show, which features multiple-level challenges and huge cash rewards for the contestants, became a huge success in the first edition. Season 2 promises to be even bigger, with a new format. It will have a fresh twist that will test both physical strength and intelligence.

The first season of Beast Games premiered in January 2025 and ended with Jeffery Randall Allen, known as Player 831, winning a record-breaking $10 million prize. Building on that success, the upcoming season aims to raise the excitement again. Titled Strong vs. Smart, the new season will feature hundreds of contestants and will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Beast Games Season 2 will officially premiere on January 7, 2026. This season will include 200 participants competing for a $5 million cash prize. The main twist divides the contestants into two groups. One group includes 100 of the strongest competitors, while the other includes 100 of the smartest minds from around the world. The format is designed to test not just muscle or brain, but how both can survive under pressure.

According to Amazon’s official announcement, the show will also feature a special crossover with the long-running TV series Survivor. Survivor host Jeff Probst will appear as a guest. The crossover episode will combine elements from both shows. Contestants will face a mixed challenge course that includes physical obstacles, strategy-based twists, and surprise bribes during challenges. These additions are meant to increase tension and force players to make tough decisions.

The release schedule has also been confirmed. The first three episodes will drop on January 7, 2026. After that, new episodes will be released weekly. The season finale is scheduled to air on February 25, 2026.

Ahead of the premiere, MrBeast directly addressed fans online. On December 31, 2025, he shared a photo with the contestants and announced that 100 extremely strong people would compete against 100 highly intelligent individuals for a $5 million prize on Prime Video. YouTube's biggest creator also highlighted the scale of the competition and encouraged fans to tune in when the show launches.
