Candace Owens shares alleged threatening messages sent to Charlie Kirk and questions Erika Kirk’s leadership after his murder
Candace Owens has escalated her public clash with Turning Point USA in a way that has stunned even seasoned observers of conservative media infighting. A cease and desist letter failed to slow her down. Instead, Owens moved faster, sharper, and more publicly, releasing alleged private messages and workplace accounts that cast fresh scrutiny on TPUSA’s leadership after Charlie Kirk’s death.
The controversy now stretches beyond personal grievances. It touches donor influence, internal power struggles, and the emotional fallout inside a political organization navigating grief while under a microscope. Owens, once closely aligned with TPUSA, is positioning herself as a whistleblower, even as critics question her motives and methods.
Candace Owens accused TPUSA leadership of conducting what she called “witch trials” against employees, claiming staff members were questioned, terminated, or intimidated over perceived loyalty to Erika Kirk. In one post, she wrote, “What is going on at Turning Point right now should be termed the Scottsdale Witch Trials. I have now gathered first-person accounts that executives are dragging people into offices asking about their allegiance to Erika.”
She went further, alleging surveillance and abrupt firings tied to private conversations. “Despite 250 million dollars raised since Charlie’s assassination, she was fired. No reason given,” Owens claimed, suggesting fear now defines the workplace culture.
The most explosive moment came when Owens read what she said were threatening messages sent to Charlie Kirk by a donor. The message warned, “Be very careful, Charlie. You are in violation of the 9th Commandment, by bearing false witness against your brother, Judah. When was the last time you read your Bible, Charlie.”
Another section escalated the tone further: “This is not a joke, Charlie. I'm coming to you as a sister in the faith. You have accomplished so much by the hand of The Almighty, but He is going to lift His hand from you.”
Owens claimed Kirk felt threatened by the texts and insisted they did not originate from TPUSA leadership. Still, the revelations have deepened fractures inside the conservative movement, raising uncomfortable questions about power, grief, and accountability at a pivotal moment for the organization.
