Tony Blair's Facebook profile hacked

LONDON: Former British Prime MinisterTony Blair's profile on a popular social networking site has been hacked bynetizens who have hurled online abuses at him and his wife Cherie.In fact, users have launched personal attacks on the former BritishPM and his wife by hijacking Facebook profile, set up to promote his charity TheTony Blair Faith Foundation, The Daily Telegraph reported. The TonyBlair Faith Foundation on Facebook, which is accessed via a link from thecharity's official website, is meant to promote understanding of the world'sreligions. But, it is instead dominated by abusive messages against Blairs.One posted on Saturday: "Setting up a Mickey Mouse foundation willdo nothing to clear your conscience. Your legacy was sealed a long time ago. Youcan bang your Christian drum for as long as you like." Anotherposter wrote: "Tony Blair. You're a poor man's Michael Sheen. You're a parody ofyourself. You wish you could be as cool MC Gordon Brown." Another wrote: "TonyBlair was about as good for Britain as the bubonic plague."
