A jump from the machan ladder in Pench tiger reserve left 37-year-old software engineer Asad Khan with a feeling of prick in the lower abdomen. Khan went for a trip to Pench tiger reserve in late 2020. Early diagnosis revealed he was suffering from an aggressive stage IV kidney cancer. Wasting no time, Khan underwent a surgery which involved removal of one kidney and a rib. Now Khan helps and tries to cheer up people who grow fearful after being diagnosed with cancer.
