At least 78 people were killed in central Gaza due to an Israeli strike, as reported by health officials on Sunday. As per preliminary figures from nearby hospitals, The death toll includes 12 women and seven children. The strike occurred in the Maghazi refugee camp east of Deir al-Balah, leading to frantic scenes at a nearby hospital. The Health Ministry in Gaza initially reported a death toll of 78 while the Israeli military had no immediate comment on the incident.
