He said, "It's a big loss for the industry because the film industry needs singers like that. You know, film industry basically needs stars to run the show because it's a lot of money writing on songs and stuff."

He further shared that there are times when movies get business because of the songs in them. He expressed that if a particular song turns out to be a hit, people go and watch the film in cinemas. He said, "So we need stars like Arjit and Neha."

Swanand Kirkire further expressed, "But, at the same time, it's their choice. If they want to take a break, they can afford to take a break."
