Residents of Hiranagar town in Jammu and Kashmir are facing huge problems due to lack of bridges and well-built roads in the region. Those living in the town as well as nearly 25 villages near the India-Pakistan border cross Tarnah River everyday to get on the other side as there is no bridge. Minister of state for PMO, Jitendra Singh, who is also a lawmaker from Kathua constituency, assured that Border Roads Organisation (BRO) would construct a bridge next year in January.
