India Repatriates 30 More Seafarers From Gulf, Total Reaches 253
Delhi: Rajesh Kumar Sinha from the Shipping Ministry said that in the last 24 hours, 30 seafarers have been safely repatriated to India from various airports across the Gulf region, taking the total number of repatriations to 253. The ministry facilitated the return of these individuals from their respective locations, ensuring smooth and coordinated operations. Sinha also noted that six LPG carriers, arriving from different parts of the world and not solely from the Gulf, were given priority berthing at major Indian ports. These measures underscore India’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare of its seafarers and ensuring uninterrupted maritime operations during challenging times.
