Stringent terms by Etihad may put Jet Airways lifeline at risk

A rescue plan for Jet Airways has hit a roadblock with proposed white knight and minority shareholder Etihad Airways imposing stiff conditions and lenders not taking any chances. Shares of Jet Airways fell 8% after Etihad's stipulations came to light. According to banking sources, rescuing the airline would require government intervention.
