NEW DELHI: A 15-year-old boy died following a fight with a group of minors at a park in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Monday evening, police said.According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 7.22 pm on 23 February within the jurisdiction of Tilak Nagar police station.

The victim, a minor, had been playing cricket at Woodland Park when he got into an argument with a 12-year-old boy. The quarrel escalated into a physical altercation.Police said the 12-year-old later went home and informed his cousins, aged 17 and 13, about the dispute. The three then returned to the park in search of the 15-year-old.At around 7.22 pm, the two groups confronted each other again, and a fight broke out. During the scuffle, the 15-year-old sustained injuries to his neck and head and fell unconscious at the scene.He was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.An FIR has been registered in connection with the incident, and all three children in conflict with the law have been apprehended, police said. Further investigation is underway.The deceased was one of four brothers. His father works as a tea vendor.
