Shivanand Tiwari applauds Bihar Education Department for restoring festival holidays

RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari welcomed the Bihar Education Department's decision to reverse its previous order, which had reduced government school holidays from 23 to 11 between September and December. He stated that festivals like Vishwakarma Puja and Janmashtami do not disrupt students' studies in any way."The education department probably reconsidered their initial decision. Festivals such as Diwali, Durga Pooja, Raksha Bandhan, and others do not negatively impact students' education," commented Shivanand Tiwari.The Bihar Education Department has now revoked its earlier decision to reduce holidays, a move that had sparked significant controversy and even prompted teachers in the state to threaten protests.
