Rebel TMC MPs Meet BJP Leaders In Delhi As Mamata Attends Crucial INDIA Bloc Talks

The Trinamool Congress crisis has escalated to Delhi, where reports claim at least 10 rebel MPs held a closed-door meeting with BJP leaders while Mamata Banerjee attended an INDIA bloc gathering. The meeting reportedly took place at Union Minister Bhupender Yadav's residence. The rebels remain short of the 19 MPs needed to avoid disqualification under anti-defection laws. Meanwhile, Ritabrata Banerjee's rebel faction continues gaining strength in West Bengal, further challenging Mamata Banerjee's authority. Watch

Delhi HC Issues Notice To Centre, CBSE On Plea Challenging Class 12 OSM Evaluation Process

The Delhi High Court has sought responses from the Centre and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on a petition alleging discrepancies in the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets under the newly introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. Filed by the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the plea seeks compensatory marks for students affected by unreadable scans, missing pages, improperly scanned answer sheets, or evaluation errors. It also requests an extension of the re-evaluation window and asks that the portal remain open for another month. CBSE informed the court that student grievances are already being addressed through existing mechanisms. The matter is scheduled for further hearing on June 12.
