Proud moment for Indian athletics: PT Usha after being nominated to Rajya Sabha

After being nominated to Rajya Sabha Former Indian Athlete PT Usha expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that it is a proud moment for Indian athletics. While talking to Media Persons PT Usha said, “I am very happy, it's a proud moment and an honour for Indian sports and particularly athletics. Prime Minister is very close to sportspersons, he always wishes luck to players before and after any event. It's a motivation for all of us,” she added.
